Rent-a-PC is a long-term PC rental scheme. It has been designed by Stone from the ground up to meet the specific challenges of the UK education landscape.

The concept is purposefully simple and straightforward. Rather than the traditional capital purchase of PCs through the standard procurement process, or organisations spreading the cost of that capital purchase with a lease - PCs are rented for an indicative agreement period of 3 years. Devices can be returned, upgraded or swapped out to Stone at any time within this period - subject to a 90 day notice period.

With the traditional Stone support offering at its core - educational institutions can opt to take Rent-a-PC schemes with additional support resource as necessary to supplement any resource gaps that may exist internally. This encompasses a 'partial' Managed Service, right the way up to a full remote/onsite Managed Service (Gold level). Support operates on a prescriptive basis, reducing the complexity of deploying support resource and ensuring a clear statement of service levels you can expect when you partner with us on Rent-a-PC.

Dovetailing in to your existing way of working, we seek to complement your existing team to deliver a high quality service and support offering that is relevant to the needs of you and your students.
