Who are Parago®?

In Spring 2004 Parago Software spent six months with local authorities and schools across England discussing ways to simplify the complex issues of asset management. Following this the company commenced the development of Parago, an asset management system that would automate the process for managing computers, software and general inventory. Extensive testing allowed Parago to be launched in January 2006.

The directors and shareholders have invested over £1,000,000 to date to ensure that Parago continues to meet the requirements of schools. Nearly three years on, the company now works with schools across 17 authorities and has more schools using Parago than any other asset management system. Parago also has schools in France and the Cayman Islands.

Parago Software is now available through a select number of resellers including Microsoft Gold Partners and Becta approved suppliers, such as Stone Group Ltd.

In an ideal world schools would have access to ‘up to date’ comprehensive data on all ICT assets including software, hardware and any other classroom resources. This would enable the creation of accurate procurement plans and budget forecasts that would optimise future funding. It would enable schools to clearly see what assets they have and what gaps exist.
